Qualcomm and ESL Gaming have just announced a multi-year partnership to “deliver high-quality mobile esports experiences to new and seasonal competitors.” The Snapdragon Pro series is not a chipset, but a series of mobile esports tournaments in North America, Europe, the Middle East, China, North Africa, and the Asia Pacific.

There will be three levels of competition: Open, Challenge, and Mastery. Players from each region were able to win around $ 2 million in prizes during the multi-year championship.

The tournaments will use Snapdragon-based premium devices with modifications of Snapdragon Elite Gaming.

The partnership with ESL is part of Qualcomm’s gaming strategy and aims to leverage the Snapdragon name in the mobile esports industry.
