During Tristan Thompson’s paternity issue, the second season premiere of The Kardashians provided an inside look at how the Kardashian-Jenner family responded to Khloe Kardashian and Tristan’s pregnancy announcement.
Whatever the circumstances, the Kardashian-Jenner family remains close.
When it was discovered that Tristan Thompson had fathered a kid with a different woman last year—while simultaneously expecting his second child with Khloe—the first episode of The Kardashians season two, airing on Sept. 22, showed just how Khloe Kardashian’s family supported her.
Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, and Kris Jenner all made open admissions about the incident to the Hulu cameras.
Kylie revealed in an open letter: “Truly, Tristan has let me down. It makes me uncomfortable to put someone in that situation, especially when there is a child involved, and I think it’s extremely bungled that he knew he had another baby on the way with somebody else.”
In her opinion, this was simply beyond forgiveness, she said.
Kim announced that they are “going to rally behind her and just be extremely supportive” when Kendall, Kylie, Kris, and Kim convened to talk about the problem.
I simply didn’t like the idea that Tristan knew this was going at one point in the chat, Kylie said.
It almost appears as though he was trying to catch her.”
During her conversation with Khloe at her condo later in the show, Kris started crying. She told her kid, “I simply want you to enjoy [it].” I don’t want you to miss what’s occurring since it’s such a blessing in disguise.
Kris then made the following observation in a confessional: “It’s challenging. Simply put, I feel horrible for her since the excitement was somewhat sapped from it once more.”
It was reported back in December that Maralee Nichols had sued Tristan for paternity because he was the father of her newborn baby Theo, who is now 9 months old. Theo’s father, Tristan, subsequently acknowledged and apologized to Khloe after they had gotten back together last autumn.
He was expecting his second kid with the founder of Good American at the same time. Although his name hasn’t been disclosed, her rep confirmed in August 2022 that their kid was delivered via surrogacy.
The Kardashians staff documented Khloe’s pain and how her family came together for her through a trying period in the months between the lawsuit filing and the birth of their kid.
Khloe fought back tears and remarked, “It’s supposed to be a great wonderful moment.”
